Indraprastha WORLD SCHOOL believes in imparting education that aims at sustaining curiosity among the young learners and allowing them to think big and think differently. For we believe that the students of today are the citizens of tomorrow; hence, endeavours are made to provide them with a platform that aims at widening their perspectives related to contemporary issues in society at length and building a beautiful world around them.
It was a moment of pride when the two young prodigies of IPWS—Parth Phutela and Pragya Dhamija of class X got an opportunity to present their project at the 5th International Conference on Sustainability Education held on September 20, 2023, at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.  The students got an opportunity to research,  explore  and  invent the concept of ‘Geo Cooler’ under the guidance of their mentor, Mr. Rahul Tandon (PGT Chemistry and Author). Their presentation was selected among the top 30 Schools across the nation for the final round.

Winner at 10th Mumbai Short International Festival 2021

 

Creativity and Talent were expressed by the budding  artists and technocrats of Indraprastha Riya Bedhara( XI)  and Vansh Suri ( XI) in a movie entitled 'Education Behind the Screen'. Team of Indraprastha studio mesmerized the jury and  clinched the Special Mention Award at the 10th Mumbai Short International Film Festival 2O21and added one more feather in the cap of Indraprastha.

 

 

 

PROUD RECIPIENT OF INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AWARD

 

Indraprastha WORLD SCHOOL has been conferred the ‘International School Award 2020- 23 accredited by the British Council for the ‘Outstanding Development of International Dimension’ in curriculum.’ This is for the fourth consecutive term that the school has been honoured with the most coveted award. It is a testimony to the fact, that global perspective in education is one of the vital components in providing quality education at Indraprastha. For we, firmly believes in nurturing the values of global cooperation, peace and harmony. 
While working on the International projects students were able to chisel and develop their values of cooperation, tolerance, and love for learning. Each day was a celebration of a meaningful, well-defined, fun-filled and holistic learning encompassing mass participation of students, staff members, parents and distinguished guests in activities such as ‘’ Global Peace and Harmony’, ‘ Unity in Diversity’ and  plethora of Collaborative Projects etc.
Understanding, cooperation, awareness and positivity permeated the school activities while executing ISA activities. The successful implementation of the ISA Programme inspired teachers and students to set benchmark which ascertains an outstanding level of global education that transforms young scholars into global citizens.
Kudos to the stake holders  of Indraprastha WORLD SCHOOL for the grand success of a year long endeavour in the field of international learning. Indeed, it was truly an exhilarating experience which challenged the young minds to break the shackles of clichéd learning and to evolve as global human leaders of a new world.

Best Directors Award at International Film Festival 2019

 

Our talented moviemakers Khushi Malik (XIB1), Jishnu Chauhan (XIB1), Kushaal Dutta (XB2) , Kushvinder Singh (XII A3), Mahatv Bajaj (XI B2) and Armaan Batra(XI A1) won the Best Directors Award (Honorable Jury Mention) at the Film Festival.

 

 

Robotics Champion at Dubai

Our ace robotronics champions visited Bits Pilani, DUBAI, UAE from May 24, 2018 to may 28,2018 to participate in the International Robotics Challenge 2018 and added one more feather in the cap of Indraprastha. Our team under senior category competed with more than 10 teams and won the First Position.  Once again our Robo Champs have left an indelible mark at international level by clinching First position in the International Robotics Championship- Season 5 in Dubai. Our senior teams won I Prize and II Prize. Our winners received Medals, certificates and mini Google Home.

Winners at International Robotics League Championship, Beijing China

The  International Finale  of the  Eig ht h  Annual International Robotronics Challenge (popularly known as IRC League) was  held at Beijing Electronics Science & Technology Institute , China  on June 3, 201 7 . The program started with the lighting of the lamp by Mr TarunBhalla,  CEO of Avishkaar Box and Ye Changqing, Vice President of Mago Robotics. The event saw the participation  of 5 00 teams from 30 different schools from 6 countries namely, India, Maldives, China, Bangladesh, Singapore and Malaysia.

 

The theme of this season of IRC League was" Tomorrowland ". Our student Rohan Dhingra (XI A2) exhibited their excellent robotic skills and notched the Second Position at the senior Level.

Our middle team comprising: Manav Jaggarwal  (IX A1), Jishnu Chauhan ( IX A2), Chaitanya Jaiswal (VII A1) and Kartik Gupta (IX A3) won a lot of appreciation and were felicitated with the certificates  for their  Exemplary Performance at middle level.

It was a great learning experience for the students as they interacted with the students of different schools from various countries.

 

Champions at  Afro Asian Cricket Tournament

Heartiest Congratulations to the champions of Afro Asian Inter School Cricket Tournament 2018, South Africa. Once again our talented budding sports stars have brought home a shimmering Rolling Trophy from Johannes Berg, South Africa. Kudos to the  winners of Indraprastha for setting a benchmark at international level in sports.
